Venus flytrap red pirahna in 8.5cm pot

Venus flytraps are a botanical wonder with their snapping jaws catching their prey.

The red pirahna is the plants snapping jaws that extend along long stems.

These plants need lots of bright light (they can even live outside during summer) and the soil needs to be kept moist using only rain or distilled water ( tap water will kill them)

Closing the traps on purpose will only lead to the plant devouring itself so its not recommended.
